An Artist Dinner with Isabel Menino

On the 12th of October 19.00 – 22.00 hrs we organise an Art Dinner with Isabel Menino. She will cook a palet from the sea, slit and earth of her dear fatherland as guest chef. Meniño studied fine art at the Rietveld Academie and Museology in Amsterdam, and develops projects in which food and culture are always the starting point. She is the mastermind behind ‘DIVINAKITCHEN’ and initiator, founder and developer of MOOF, ‘Museum Of Our Food’, an innovative museumconcept in which the senses, art, culture, heritage, science and education come together in a dynamic way.

Of course we find many fish and shellfish recipes in the book Mijn Keuken van Galicië. But other ingredients also come by and those that are not so fond of fish will find enough for ttheir liking. The names of the chapters and dishes are in Spanish with a Dutch translation. Included are dishes such as Shrimp with garlic and sherry, empanada with sardines, farm stew with chickpeas and cabbage, pasta with pulled pork, delicious sweets such as almond cake and lemon cake. There really are too many to mention.
