characteristic exhibition/ event venue in an unique location!
BRADWOLFF PROJECTS has its exhibition space in the attractive domed space of the surgery building in the former Burgerziekenhuis on the Linnaeusstraat in Amsterdam Oost. The historic and monumental space is a multifunctional place for exhibitions of up-and-coming art, design and fashion talent. It is an inspiring space for meetings, photo shoots, book presentations or private dinners. The building has symmetrical halls and is very suitable for clear, focused presentations. Its location in a quiet, beautiful public courtyard makes it a special meeting place.
history
The former Burgerziekenhuis – especially for the small bourgeoisie – is located at the Linnaeusstraat, Amsterdam, and was designed by A.L. van Gendt [1835-1901]. It was opened in 1891 with money that was brought together by, among other things, a public raffle of two hundred works of art in Amsterdam Arti. It functioned as a hospital until 1991.
